Lanaturnerjournal.com uses cutting-edge web font embedding defined in CSS version 3 by the W3 consortium. This technology has not yet been adopted by all browsers, so the most up-to-date version of one of the following browsers is required in order to experience the site's faithful reproduction of the typography and design found in the print version of the journal.
The following fonts are used on Lanaturnerjournal.com:
Additionally, Lanaturnerjournal.com was developed using a minimalist philosophy with respect to graphical content and page layout. Wherever possible, graphical elements on the page are accomplished using CSS rules that define the stylistic guide for the site as a whole. This site is an exercise in programatic execution of style and typesetting, and an experiment in pushing the boundaries of cross-platform consistency of non-rasterized typesetting and typography.

Currently, Safari is the only officially released browser to fully support the font embedding used on this site, and is therefor recommended for optimal viewing. However, the currently available public beta versions of Safari 4, Opera 10, and Firefox 3.1 all support web font embedding. This feature will be available in the next major release of each browser.
